Begin your walking tour from the Jama Masjid Mosque . Stroll through the narrow lanes as your guide shares fascinating stories and insights into daily life in the capital . Next, you’ll transfer from walking to a bicycle rickshaw and travel through the ever-widening alleyways to the Red Fort . Get your camera ready to capture some memorable snapshots as you ride the bicycle rickshaw to the Red Fort.

Various religions, such as Hinduism and Islam, are practiced throughout India in different forms. Another significant religion is Sikhism. To learn more about this faith, visit the traditional Sikh temple, Shri Bangla Sahib. Upon entering a Sikh temple, it is customary to participate in some of the rituals of the worshippers, such as covering your head and cleansing your hands and feet. You will arrive in the courtyard of the inner temple area, where spiritual chants will guide you. Take time to absorb the atmosphere, the spirituality, and the chants of the temple. Your guide will then show you a vast dining hall where all worshippers and visitors are warmly welcomed and invited to a meal. After a leisurely breakfast and transfer to the airport, you will fly to Varanasi . Upon landing, you will be transferred to your hotel by your tour guide.

The afternoon is yours to enjoy at your leisure . Relax in your comfortable accommodation and take in the view from the rooftop terrace. Or stroll leisurely through the city streets and soak up the unique atmosphere.

This evening, a very special experience awaits. Meet up again with your fellow travelers and experience the vibrant nightlife of this holy city. Together, you will travel from your accommodation in several rickshaws to the banks of the Ganges . Witness a traditional Aarti ceremony on the riverbank, where the atmosphere is filled with the chants of the Brahmins, the gentle ringing of bells in the background, and the shimmering lamps on the water. Ganges boat trip • Monkey Temple • Stupas, monasteries & temples in Sarnath • Leisure time
 

Today’s spiritual focus continues with an early morning boat trip on the Ganges . From the boat, you’ll witness the city slowly awakening, with worshippers bathing in the river’s holy waters and venerating the rising sun. You’ll pass the crematorium, situated right on the riverbank, which holds special significance here. Hindus believe that dying in Varanasi allows them to go directly to heaven and escape the cycle of rebirth.

Following the boat trip, you will visit the Durga Temple , dedicated to the goddess of the same name and dating back to the 18th century. A large number of monkeys live around the temple, which is why it is also known as the “Monkey Temple.” Be careful, these four-legged creatures are agile and will jump overhead or at your feet.

Passing the Bharat Mata Mandir temple and the Benara Hindu University, which is considered the largest residential university in Asia, we return to the hotel and fortify ourselves with a hearty breakfast.

After experiencing the enchanting atmosphere of Varanasi this morning, an excursion to Sarnath awaits. This important Buddhist pilgrimage site is located only about half an hour from Varanasi. According to tradition, Buddha delivered his first sermon here at the Dhamekh Stupa, which is why this place holds such profound significance for many believers. Marvel at the city’s magnificent stupas, monasteries, and temples, and listen to your guide as they share stories and myths from the past.

Today you leave the holy city and travel to Varanasi Airport. You ‘ll fly to Delhi , from where you’ll continue your journey to Agra in your comfortable minibus . Sit back and relax as the vast Indian landscape unfolds before you. The highway is quite new, so the road conditions are excellent. Along the way, you’ll stop for a break to stretch your legs and enjoy a light snack. The size of the minibus also allows for lively conversation with your fellow travelers and tour guide, ensuring the time flies by.

Today you’ll depart for Ranthambore National Park, where unspoiled nature awaits you. Sit back and relax during the journey in your comfortable minibus.

You will make a stop at the unique stepwell Chand Baori  in Abhaneri. Your knowledgeable guide will share the captivating legend of its creation. Chand Baori was built in the 9th century. This architectural masterpiece consists of symmetrical steps leading down into the earth and once served as a meeting place and water source for the inhabitants. Today, Chand Baori is a popular tourist destination, impressing visitors with its beauty and history.

Safari in the morning and afternoon
 

Begin your day with an exciting safari in Ranthambore National Park as soon as the first rays of sunlight illuminate the savanna. During this adventurous drive through the park, you’ll have the opportunity to observe monkeys, antelopes, deer, and even leopards in their natural habitat. Be alert as you travel along bumpy tracks and keep your eyes peeled so you don’t miss the park’s highlight: a Bengal tiger , which could emerge from the undergrowth at any moment. After a hearty breakfast, you will leave the national park today and head towards Jaipur . Passing many agricultural areas that represent rural life, you will drive to the capital of Rajasthan, where you will arrive in the afternoon.

After your arrival, you will have plenty of time to get a first impression of Jaipur. Visit the Lakhsmi-Narayan Hindu temple , which sits majestically atop a hill, built entirely of pure marble. You might be lucky enough to witness a traditional prayer ceremony and experience the temple’s spiritual atmosphere.

Afterwards, immerse yourself in the world of traditional chai tea at a vibrant market and learn firsthand how to properly prepare this exotic spiced tea. Sample the delicious tea and savor the flavors of India.

On your way back to your accommodation, you’ll pass the famous Raj Mandir Bollywood movie palace . If you wish, you can catch a show here in the evening (just ask your tour guide) or simply soak up the vibrant memories of the city’s bustling and colorful streets. After your guide has explained all the background information about the former royal residence, you will return to the city, passing the imposing City Palace, before disembarking at the Palace of Winds . With its intricately designed windows, this too is considered an exceptionally magnificent building. From here, you will continue your exploration on foot and visit the historic Jantar Mantar Observatory , a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There, you will learn more about the significance of horoscopes and related beliefs in Indian culture, for example, regarding marriage.

Afterwards, stroll through the city’s magnificent pink and red boulevards and discover why Jaipur is also known as the “Pink City” and is one of the wealthier cities in the region. Along the way, you’ll pass numerous shops and bazaar stalls, gaining insights into daily life, which differs significantly from that in Old Delhi.

Today we travel to Jodhpur , also known as the “Blue City” due to the distinctive color of its houses. The journey may seem a little longer at first, but you’ll again have the opportunity to either sit back and enjoy the scenery or chat with your fellow travelers. We’ll make a few stops along the way to stretch your legs and grab a bite to eat if needed.

Arriving in Jodhpur in the afternoon, the rest of the day is yours to explore the “Blue City” at your leisure. Originally, only priests were permitted to paint their houses light blue, but over time, this practice became widespread. Today, the light blue facades are the city’s trademark. Why not visit the lively and bustling Sardar Market, located in the old city around the clock tower? Stroll through the many narrow lanes and discover exotic spices, beautiful handicrafts, and traditional jewelry in the small shops and chaotic stalls. In the evening, you have the opportunity to experience the beauty of Udaipur from a different perspective. Depending on the water level, you can take an approximately one-hour boat trip on Lake Pichola and enjoy the spectacular sunset over the picturesque waters. You will pass the two island palaces, Jagmandir and Jagniwas, which are situated on islands in the lake. The former summer residence of Maharana Jagat Singh II, the Lake Palace, is also located on an island in the lake and now houses a luxury hotel. Some may recognize the palace/hotel, as it served as a backdrop for the James Bond film “Octopussy” (1983).
